Brief

The structured document that activates a creator: goals, constraints, deliverables, compensation, disclosure.

Also known as: Campaign brief · Creator brief

A brief is the structured document that activates a creator on a campaign. In a Creator Commerce OS the brief is not a Google Doc — it is a typed object with goals, constraints, deliverables, compensation, disclosure language, and an approval flow.

What a strong brief carries

  • Cluster targeting — which clusters this brief is offered to.
  • Goals — attributable revenue, UGC, both.
  • Compensation — model, rate, payout cadence.
  • Disclosure — region-specific language enforced at draft approval.
  • Window — go-live and end dates; tentpole windows where applicable.

Why structure matters

Structured briefs let clusters auto-rank against goals, let attribution auto-roll up to the right campaign, and let disclosure compliance be enforced rather than hoped for.
