How do you calculate creator campaign ROI?

Creator campaign ROI is (attributed revenue − spend) ÷ spend. You estimate attributed revenue by funnelling reach down to orders: creators × reach × CTR × conversion rate × average order value.

  1. 01
    Estimate spend

Multiply the number of creators by your average cost per creator to get total campaign spend.

  2. 02
    Estimate reach and clicks

Multiply creators by average reach per creator to get total reach, then apply your click-through rate (CTR) to get clicks.

  3. 03
    Estimate orders

Apply your landing-page conversion rate to clicks to get the number of attributed orders.

  4. 04
    Estimate revenue and ROI

Multiply orders by average order value (AOV) for attributed revenue. ROAS = revenue ÷ spend; ROI = (revenue − spend) ÷ spend.

Frequently asked questions

How do you calculate creator marketing ROI?
Creator marketing ROI = (attributed revenue − campaign spend) ÷ campaign spend, expressed as a percentage. Attributed revenue is estimated as creators × average reach × CTR × conversion rate × average order value. ROAS (return on ad spend) is the related ratio: revenue ÷ spend.
What is a good ROAS for creator campaigns?
It varies by margin and vertical, but many brands target a ROAS of 2–4× on paid creator activity. Lower-margin categories need higher ROAS to be profitable. The only reliable number is your own measured ROAS — this calculator gives an estimate from your assumptions.
How is this different from estimated media value (EMV)?
EMV approximates the 'value' of reach and engagement. This calculator estimates attributable revenue and ROI instead — the numbers creator commerce actually optimizes for. Cyrqle measures these with first-party attribution rather than estimating them.
Is the calculator accurate?
It is an estimate from the inputs you provide, not a guarantee. Real campaigns vary by creator, audience match and offer. Cyrqle replaces these assumptions with measured, first-party numbers per creator and cluster.
