Compensation model

How a creator gets paid for a campaign — fixed, rev share, seeding, or hybrid.

Also known as: Payment model · Comp model

A compensation model specifies how a creator is paid for a given campaign or program. Modern creator commerce supports four:

  1. Fixed fee — a flat amount paid on delivery and/or approval.
  2. Revenue share — a percentage of attributed revenue, paid on order.
  3. Product seeding — products provided free or at cost; sometimes paired with rev share.
  4. Hybrid — combinations of the above (e.g. fixed + rev share + seeded product).

Different verticals favor different models. Beauty leans seeding + hybrid; D2C leans rev share; sports & TV often runs fixed for tentpole moments. A Creator Commerce OS supports all four natively, in one screen, with one payout pipeline.
