Affiliate Marketing
A performance model paying publishers a commission on sales they refer via tracked links — one input creator commerce absorbs and improves on.
Also known as: Affiliate marketing · Affiliate program
Affiliate marketing is a performance model where publishers earn a commission on sales they refer through tracked links, usually mediated by an affiliate network. It is low fixed cost and broad, but brand control and creator selection are limited.
Revenue share inside creator commerce resembles affiliate commission, but with brand-controlled creator selection, briefs, brand-safety review and first-party attribution around it — and the option to combine it with fixed fees or seeding.
