Application loop

The apply-to-brief sourcing mode — creators raise their hand on a published brief and the brand reviews applicants.

Also known as: Apply-to-brief · Open application

The application loop is the apply-to-brief sourcing mode: a brand publishes a brief, creators in the targeted cluster (and outside it) raise their hand, and the brand reviews applicants and selects who to activate.

What it gives you

  • A wider top-of-funnel than auto-invite alone.
  • Creator self-selection on production style, terms, and audience fit.
  • New creators surfacing who aren't yet scored highly in the cluster.

What it costs

  • More brief-review time.
  • Slower brief-to-live for tentpole windows.
  • More disclosure-language enforcement at draft approval, since applicants vary in compliance experience.

The hybrid

Most effective programs combine application loop with cluster auto-invite — auto-invite the highest-fit, leave application slots open for diversity.
