Churn Rate
The share of customers or subscribers lost over a period — the inverse of retention.
Also known as: Churn
Churn rate is the percentage of customers or subscribers a business loses over a period — the inverse of retention.
It matters for creator commerce in subscription-heavy verticals: a creator who acquires customers who quickly churn drives less value than the first order suggests. Reading churn against CAC and repeat purchase rate per cluster shows which creators bring durable customers.
