Average Order Value (AOV)

The average revenue per order — a key multiplier in creator campaign revenue and ROI.

Also known as: AOV

Average order value (AOV) is the average revenue per order: total revenue divided by number of orders. It is one of the multipliers that turns creator-driven clicks into revenue.

In a creator campaign, attributed revenue is roughly orders × AOV, so AOV has the same leverage as conversion rate. Creators whose audiences buy bundles or premium SKUs lift AOV even at the same order count.

AOV in compensation

Because AOV drives revenue, it also shapes revenue-share economics: a rev-share deal on a high-AOV catalogue pays out more per conversion than the same percentage on low-AOV items.
