Zero-Party Data

Data a customer intentionally shares with a brand — preferences, intent — distinct from observed behavior.

Also known as: Zero-party data · 0P data

Zero-party data is information a customer deliberately and proactively shares — stated preferences, purchase intent, profile answers — as opposed to behavior a brand observes.

It is the most consent-rich data a brand can hold and complements first-party data. In creator commerce it sharpens audience and product matching without relying on tracking.
