Stripe Connect

The Stripe product that powers marketplace-style payouts to third parties — used by cyrqle to pay creators across all four compensation models.

Also known as: Connect

Stripe Connect is the Stripe product purpose-built for marketplaces and platforms that need to pay third parties. cyrqle uses Connect (Express + Custom accounts) to settle creator payouts across all four compensation models.

Why it matters

  • Same-day payouts — Connect enables payout the moment a campaign clears.
  • Multi-currency — settlement in EUR, USD, MXN, BRL, and more.
  • Compliance — tax forms (1099 in the US, AEAT 347 in Spain) handled at year-end.
  • No funds-held risk — funds settle directly into creator accounts; cyrqle is a platform on top of Stripe, not a custodian.

What this replaces

For brands, it replaces a quarterly CSV reconciliation job that used to live in finance and got run by a junior who hated it. For creators, it replaces 30–60 day payment terms that made participation feel like working for free.
