MER (Marketing Efficiency Ratio)
Total revenue divided by total marketing spend — a blended, channel-agnostic view of efficiency.
Also known as: MER · Marketing efficiency ratio
MER (marketing efficiency ratio) is total revenue divided by total marketing spend across all channels — a top-down view that sidesteps attribution disputes between channels.
It complements channel-level ROAS: MER tells you whether the whole marketing mix is efficient, while creator-level attribution tells you which creators inside the mix are pulling their weight.
